Dynamics 365 for Sales Professional is a version of Dynamics 365 for Sales aimed at Small and Medium Business at a reduced license price.
When Dynamics 365 for Sales Professional was first announced I was quite excited as we start off as a small business focussed partner, and we were Microsoft Worldwide Partner of the Year in the Small Business Specialist category, and this new SKU would allow us to go back to that market more effectively, but when first released it didn’t meet our expectations. Now with the April release, this is ready and has a lot of improvements that would be nice in the Enterprise version.
If I look back at the Sales implementations I have been involved with then most would have fitted Professional and didn’t require Enterprise.
I’ve been spending some time learning about Dynamics 365 for Sales Professional and then speaking to partners about Professional around the Nordics this week.
With Dynamics 365 for Sales Professional you get:
- First Run Experience
- Setup Users, Email, SharePoint easily

- Curated third party solutions e.g., CPQ
At the Dynamics 365 User Group Summit EMEA in Amsterdam, I was fortunate to attend a session with the product manager for Sales Professional and learnt a lot including about a limited time offer that has just been released:

- Discount lasts for 3 years
The are, of course, some limitations:
